Damodar Month, also known as Damodar Mas or Damodar Maas, is a period in the Hindu lunar calendar observed primarily in the states of Odisha and West Bengal, as well as among followers of certain Vaishnavite traditions. It usually falls in the month of Ashadha, which corresponds to June-July in the Gregorian calendar. This month is considered highly auspicious and is dedicated to Lord Krishna, particularly in his form as Damodar.
