Sri Krishna Janmashtami

Krishna Janmashtami, a vibrant and sacred festival, commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eight avatar of Krishna Himself.

Sevas offered to the Lord:

Their Lordships will be offered a variety of sevas. Additionally, a special offering of delicacies will be made to their Lordships. On this most auspicious day, there are plenty of chances to take part in the magnificent celebration all day long.

Through cultural events, divine darshan, unique sevas, melodic kirtans, and delectable prasadam, you can attain spiritual happiness.

Together with His consorts, the utsavar Deities of Sri Krishna are anointed with fragrant oils and offered ceremonial abhisheka, which includes auspicious goods like milk, yoghurt, ghee, honey, sweet water, and fresh juices. They are then bathed in Ganges water after being covered in turmeric paste. The Deities are covered in a gentle bed of flowers as different kinds of flowers are thrown onto them.

Abhisheka of Their Lordships:

Along with His consorts, Sri Krishna’s utsavar Deities receive ceremonial abhisheka (anointing) with fragrant oils and auspicious offerings like as milk, yoghurt, ghee, honey, sweet water, and fresh juices. After that, they are bathed in Ganges water and covered in turmeric paste. Flowers of all kinds are thrown down till the Deities are covered in a velvety carpet of blooms.
